Daisy is a little girl rescued from the Humane Society of Monroe County Michigan with her brother Duke.
Our rescue story
Duke and I were rescued from the shelter.
Duke and I were rescued from the Humane Society of Monroe County (Michigan) on January 17th 2024. Mom and Dad adopted Duke and I and gave us the love we deserved.
Unfortunately Duke passed away from bone cancer on September 25th 2024. Duke was diagnosed with bone cancer a couple weeks before Dad was diagnosed with breast cancer. We all gave Duke extra love while he was around!
My New Brother Buddy!
Mom and Dad thought I missed Duke, and would benefit from a friend. So, on September 4th 2025 Mom and Dad adopted Buddy! We had some issues sharing food at first, but we’re buddies now.

Our Rescue Day
January 17th 2024 we were rescued from the shelter. Mom and Dad took us out, went right to the car, Mom got in the back to keep us company and Duke and I went to the front with Dad!
My Brother Duke
We all miss my brother Duke, him and I were very close. We were so happy to be adopted together from the shelter.
Dad Takes Us To Work
Because I have separation anxiety, Dad will take me to work with him when both Mom and Dad work. Then I don’t get left alone. If they both leave, Aunt HayLee comes to watch us.
Where we came from
Our Rescue Shelter
Mom and Dad rescued us from The Humane Society of Monroe County (Michigan) a day we will never forget. Mom and Dad love me so much, and I’m grateful to the Humane Society for holding us till Mom and Dad seen us online and adopted us!
Animal Shelter
Their animal shelter provides a safe and nurturing environment for pets who have been lost, abandoned, or surrendered. They offer them the care and compassion they need while they wait for their forever homes. Each animal at the shelter receives medical attention, love, and socialization to prepare them for a new beginning.
Their Mission
We are dedicated to rehabilitating, and rehoming dogs, puppies, cats, and kittens in need while promoting responsible pet ownership within our community. Our mission is to provide a safe haven for homeless pets, offering them the love and care they deserve until they find their forever homes.

Traveling With Mom and Dad
Mom and Dad have taken me all over Michigan and even into Ohio and Wisconsin!
Mom and Dad have taken me all over the place. Dad takes me to work, they take me almost everywhere they go. Since I don’t like being home alone, Dad says i have separation anxiety, whatever that is, they take me with them or I get stuck baby sitting Aunt HayLee, Meme or Aunt Angie.
It’s fun traveling with Mom and Dad, I love to travel. Now they’ve bought a camper and they take me camping! How fun! They even bought me stairs for the bed in it, like my stairs at home for the bed, the window and couch. Dad says I’m spoiled.
